Privacy Policy

This policy covers www.mindcrew.ai and explains how the wider Mindcrew tool network handles privacy at a high level. Individual applications may also provide product-specific privacy notes in their own footers.

Mindcrew Tools operates the root site, root-hosted games, 15Square, calc, mdformatter, and codeformatter. The network is designed for no compulsory accounts and minimal data collection.

Browser-local processing and storage

Many Mindcrew tools run in your browser. Code formatting, most calculator inputs, game progress, scores, theme choices, and consent choices may be processed or stored locally in your browser storage. Clearing site data removes local preferences and saved local state.

Server-side processing

mdformatter uses server-side processing to convert Markdown to DOCX, PDF, HTML, and related exports. Markdown text and generated files are handled for the requested conversion and are normally deleted after approximately 24 hours.

Logs and operations

Servers may keep standard technical logs such as IP address, requested path, timestamp, response status, and browser user agent for security, debugging, abuse prevention, and reliability.

Analytics

Where analytics are used, they are intended to measure product usage and site reliability without intentionally collecting document contents, source code, calculator values, salary figures, prompts, or other user-generated input.

What the service is

Mindcrew Tools provides free browser utilities and games, including calculators, document conversion, code formatting, guides, and browser games. Some products run locally in your browser; others use server-side processing where required.

User content and files

Do not submit unlawful, confidential, harmful, infringing, or malicious content. For document conversion, you are responsible for the Markdown and files you provide and for checking generated output before use.

Acceptable use

Do not disrupt, overload, scrape abusively, bypass security controls, upload malicious content, or attempt unauthorized access to any Mindcrew system.

Third parties

The services may link to third-party provider pages, documentation, and tools. We do not control third-party content, pricing, policies, or availability.

Availability and accuracy

The services are provided as-is and may change, break, or be withdrawn. We aim to keep content useful and accurate, but formulas, prices, tax rules, rates, exchange data, and provider terms can change.
